Who are we?

Two members of the community who love ice cream…
and noticed a deficit in the neighborhood

On their many strolls throughout the streets of their northeast Indy suburb, Sonja and Nicole often found themselves wishing for some good ice cream. And a place to sit, relax, and enjoy it. Unfortunately, the neighborhood just didn’t have the tasty treat shop they were craving…so they decided to create it, themselves. With the help of friends, family, and neighbors, Scoop Shack was born!

Sonja and Nicole’s goal is to have a comfortable, relaxing, fun spot to sit and enjoy some delicious ice cream while spending time with friends and family. We are a local small business that networks with and supports other small businesses and vendors—all our products are local, homemade, and spectacular.

We also offer a wide selection of take-home treats and pints for scoopers on the go. Hosting an event? We’re happy to take special orders, and we have space in the shack available for birthdays, meetings, and scoop-tastic get-togethers of any kind.
